FAQ
Fire Sprinkler Installation — questions
- Q.01What's the difference between NFPA 13, 13R, and 13D?
- 13D covers one- and two-family homes and manufactured homes. 13R covers residential occupancies up to four stories. 13 covers everything else, including commercial. The right standard for your project is set by the building code and the AHJ, not by us.
- Q.02Can you install in a project the GC has already started?
- Yes — we frequently come into existing projects when a sprinkler scope opens late. Send the plans, the open permit, and the schedule and we'll tell you whether we can hit your dates.
- Q.03Do you handle the fire alarm too?
- We're a sprinkler contractor. Alarms are a separate trade. We coordinate with whoever you have wired in for the alarm panel and flow/tamper monitoring, but we don't install the alarm system itself.
